It is suitable for PU or NC coating system, when mixed with dye or pigment and scrubbed on wood surface, it can highlight the natural texture of wood with effective vessel filling acquired meantime, which contributes to less upper spraying and anti caving of paint film .After clean the scrubbing residue, it is recommended to let it dry at least 6 hours (room temperature) before upper spray application so as not to affect coating adhesion .
POLYURETHANE WASHCOAT MKD-003
MKD-003 is mainly used for sealing and filling wood vessel. Recommended mix ratio：MKD-003: HARDENER: THINNER=1:1:1-1.5, mixture viscosity is adjusted according to the depth and width of vessel elements, proper viscosity can help mixture flow easily into vessel bottom at most and build bottom structure strongly by the hard particles in the mixture. MKD-003 spraying should not be thick ,and its dry film is free of sanding for upper coating application.
MKD-17A1 is mainly used for filling wood vessel. Recommended mix ratio：MKD-17A1: HARDENER: THINNER=1:0.5:0.7-1.5, mixture viscosity is adjusted according to the depth and width of vessel elements, For perfect film thickness and quality, it is not recommended to take wet-on-wet spray when the former basecoat film is just tack free but soft to touch( drying time 1-2 hours). It is preferred to choose multiple basecoat spraying with less amount of paint used for each time.
